The Regular Length Shorts are cut with a length like that of traditional BJJ board shorts.
The Short Length has an adjusted length and leg opening (3" shorter inseam). The male model in today's photos is wearing the Short Length.

Both lengths run relatively close to the body, to prevent excess fabric getting caught in opponents' limbs while training. The only noticeable difference is the inseam length. Main fabric is a mid-weight polyester with just enough stretch to it. The double-layered crotch panel is omni-directional high-stretch fabric for great mobility on the feet or on the ground.
